Education can look simple from the outside, but outstanding teaching is built on knowledge, relationships, judgement, and hundreds of small decisions that generally remain unseen. The iceberg is our metaphor for teaching. What you see in the classroom is underpinned by deep professional expertise. EDberg Education tools are built to strengthen that expertise and support better learning, with safety and privacy by design, not an afterthought.
Teacher-centred Design
We build tools that elevate teacher expertise and keep teachers in control of classroom decisions.
Evidence-anchored Practice
Our tools are grounded in research and built to support practices that improve learning, not novelty features.
Safety and Privacy First
We design for school expectations, including safety, clear oversight, and minimal data collection.

LARA is our first tool, grounded in contemporary research on formative assessment and student feedback. It generates fast, high-quality guidance for written responses, during the lesson. Feedback draws on both universal and teacher-defined success criteria. Teachers review, approve or edit feedback before it is released. Students then choose an improvement focus from several options and revise their draft. LARA guides next steps without rewriting student responses, supporting students' agency in their learning, whilst retaining teacher oversight and involvement.
More tools are currently in development.
We build with intention and care to ensure not only great user experience, but also safety and privacy by design. Our tools are always underpinned by contemporary educational research and focused on helping teachers to design and lead high quality learning experiences for students. For EDberg Education it's never about gimmicks, it's always about learning.
Our tools are always designed with student safety, privacy, and teacher oversight as core requirements. This includes no personal accounts for students, no collection of identifiable information, and age-appropriate classroom language when students interact directly with a tool. With LARA, students use session-only access, with no names and no accounts. Session codes are deleted after 16 hours.
We provide professional learning in high-impact classroom practice, including formative assessment and high-quality feedback. The focus is on feedback that is timely, specific, and actionable so students can improve their thinking and written responses. We show how EDberg tools can support these practices while teachers remain in control.
We also provide practical sessions for teachers and school leaders that keep evidence informed teaching and learning at the centre. Sessions cover safe and effective use of AI in schools, with a strong emphasis on professional judgement and intentional teacher use to support the learning process, not hijack it.
