At EDberg Education we develop research-informed AI tools for education that strengthen teaching and improve learning. We build classroom-safe tools designed by teachers, for teachers, with teacher judgement central.
Learning comes first, along with safety and privacy by design.
Education can look simple from the outside. In practice, teaching is complex. Decisions about learning, relationships, pacing, curriculum, and assessment are constantly being made, often without being noticed.
Our name reflects the iceberg metaphor. What students see in a lesson rests on deeper work under the surface: expertise, judgement, planning, and professional craft. EDberg tools are designed to support that deeper work.

We build AI-enabled tools that support high-quality teaching and learning practices in ways that fit school expectations and classroom conditions.
Our tools are designed to assist teachers. They are not designed to replace teachers, reduce learning to a workflow, or shift classrooms away from human relationships.
Teacher-led design
We design with teachers and for teachers. Tools are built around real classroom routines, not idealised scenarios.
Evidence-informed
We use contemporary educational research and strong pedagogy to guide design decisions, including how tools structure guidance and support student learning.
Learning First
We focus on student learning and teaching quality. Teacher time saving may occur, but it is not our driver.
Safety and Privacy by Design
We minimise data collection and avoid student personal information. Tools are built for school settings with strong expectations around trust, oversight, and age-appropriate use.

LARA supports in-lesson feedback and revision for written responses. It is grounded in contemporary research on formative assessment and student feedback. Feedback draws on both universal and teacher-defined success criteria. Teachers review, approve or edit before release. Students choose an improvement focus and revise their draft. LARA guides next steps without rewriting student work.
